About cookies and browser technologies

A cookie is a small text file a website asks a browser to store and return. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels, and scripts that recognize a browser or record how a site is used. Some are necessary for a requested feature; others support preferences, measurement, or advertising.

This policy addresses technology used on hyperhostgate.com. A different policy may apply to a customer control panel, an ordered service, or a third-party site you choose to visit.

What this site uses today

The current implementation includes Termly's consent manager and resource blocker, but no deliberate analytics or advertising integration.

The site also does not deliberately use browser fingerprinting, tracking pixels, or an analytics or advertising tag manager. The Termly script is used for consent management and resource blocking. Site images, videos, and fonts are served as site assets rather than embedded social-media or advertising widgets.

Termly's resource blocker loads on every page with automatic blocking enabled. The consent interface can present the choices required for the visitor and jurisdiction, record the selection, and apply it before an optional resource is allowed to run. A static “Consent preferences” button in the footer lets you reopen those controls.

Strictly necessary technology used for consent, delivery, or security generally cannot be disabled through an optional preference without preventing the requested function. The presence of the consent manager does not mean that analytics, advertising, or every optional category is active.

What happens without a cookie

Request and security logs

When you request a page or asset, deployment, delivery, and security systems may record IP address, time, requested path or query, response status, referrer, and browser or user-agent details. Those server-side records are not cookies because they are not stored in your browser, but they can still be personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle them.

The quote form

The quote form uses temporary in-page state while the page is open. It does not persist the fields in cookies or browser storage. When you submit it, the browser sends the fields to our website endpoint; accepted applications are stored in D1 and sent through Resend to the configured business mailbox. The strictly necessary quote-recovery cookie described above may then be set, but it does not contain the submitted form fields. The D1 and email records are not cookies. If you follow a link away from hyperhostgate.com, the destination may use cookies independently. We do not control that site's technology, and its notice should explain its practices.

Your browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and clear local site data. Blocking every cookie can prevent login, security, cart, or preference functions on other services from working. Consult your browser's help documentation for the controls available in your version.

Because this marketing site has no sale, cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted-advertising activity today, a browser opt-out signal does not change any such activity here. If covered processing is introduced and applicable law requires us to honor a recognized preference signal, we will implement that behavior before launch.

Before future tracking goes live

We may add a feature later that needs a cookie or similar technology. Before enabling a non-essential technology, we will assess its purpose, information flows, recipients, duration, and legal basis. Where consent is required, the technology must remain off until a valid choice is recorded.

The consent interface for any optional feature must continue to:

offer a clear choice before non-essential technology loads;
make rejection as accessible as acceptance;
avoid preselected optional categories;
describe categories and purposes in plain language;
allow granular choices where required; and
provide a way to change or withdraw the choice later.

We will update this policy and, where necessary, the Privacy Policy before or when the changed practice begins. The effective date at the top shows when this version took effect.
